Here's what I'm thinking about:

  • Sippy cups. When is it time to make the move to a real cup?
  • Real bed for Vance. We're going to do this soon, but I'm a little nervous about the transition. I heart sleep. And I heart Vance's nap time.
  • Need to be more consistent with potty training. Half of me just thinks he isn't ready. The other half wants more chocolate cupcakes, but that's besides the point.
  • Would you let someone named 'Pebbles' cut and color your hair? I'm considering it.
  • I have no idea when and where to use these " and these'.
  • Our landscaper, Dave, communicates as if you can read his mind. This always makes the conversation lead to one direction: Me looking like a jackass. Hopefully, despite the rain, they'll be able to start tomorrow. But, what do I know? I'm a jackass.

Lots to talk about today! I do think you should be "planting the seed" every chance you get with the potty training. I think I've told you how I did it with you kids, and I know my ways are "old fashion" now, but alot of the times it still works. First thing when he gets up is head to the potty, even though he is wet, he will start getting the idea and so on through out the day. I still think you have a little time left for the crib. If he is not trying to climb out then I would still enjoy some peaceful times for yourself! I still like the idea of sippy cups at his age. Less clean up!! I think "Pebbles" sounds like a fun girl. She is probably up on the latest trends. Go for it!!!! I would Google these. Love, Mom

The crib-Carter is staying in it for awhile. He has made no effort to climb out and I do not want to disrupt his sleep (or mine!!) just yet. Unless a new baby is coming (which there isn't) I will keep him cribbed as long as possible.

Potty training-We have the potty out and I put him on it in the morning and whenever we change a diaper, but he has never peed in it. He sits, and then says "no no no" and then he gets off. I am not too worried about it yet. I don't think he is ready, but I figure I might as well expose him to it.

Sippy cups-We are keeping those for a while too. He drinks out of regular cups occasionally, but sippy cups are still my choice.

    Pebbles-Weird, but why not?

Quotes- " is for quoting and ' is for a quote within a quote.

Patio-I bet it will be beautiful and it will be nice to use this summer--hope the rain stops soon!

I think if you are out of diapers, cribs and sippy cups anytime before the age of 3 - you are doing great. No wonder they call it the terrible twos - I'd be crabby too if I had to go through all that change in one year!

don't go with pebbles. look for someone named monique or giselle. keep vance in a crib till he's 18 and ready for college! naturally learning to speak is verboten till 18 as well.
