Big plans this weekend, folks.  It's "Christmas in the Village" this Saturday.  This is our town's annual Christmas celebration and, just like last year, it's supposed to be freezing.  Truly, I don't think these crazy people would have it any other way.

The day is full of open houses, seeing Santa, carriage rides, contests, bonfires, caroling, lighting of the Village Christmas tree, and I could go on and on.  Vance is into Santa this year, so he's pretty excited, as are we.

The high for Saturday is 26 with 60% chance of snow.  Think of us on Saturday night while you're inside and doing something very adult-like.  We'll be standing out in the open waiting for Santa to be dropped off by a fire engine.

Sounds like very cold fun this weekend. We will be watching the MIZZOU v OU football game on Saturday night, so we will be thinking about you!

  4. Charisa I think I would have to agree with you on that one. I am so glad that Jr isn't into sports. Have fun this weekend. Get some good pics with santa!

  5. I hate watching football and I hate the cold too. Neither situation would be good. My main goal for the evening is going to be eating, talking and staying in a warm enviornment.
