The original owner of this house seemed to be excessive in everything. One way we're enjoying this is all of the tulips popping up in the back landscaping. Every warm day we seem to find one more pushing its way through the mulch. Vance is thinking that the tulips will be purple. I'm thinking red. Only time will tell...
no pictures of said tulips?
ReplyDeleteI bet they several different colors.
the mayor.
That's going to be fantastic when they bloom. How big are they now?
ReplyDeleteCrocus blooms 2nd week of March
Daffodils 2nd week of April
Tulips 3rd week of April
(these bloomtimes are all for SE MI).
We're ranging from about 8 inches tall to only a couple of inches. Hope the temp's don't dip too much. Would hate to lose any of them to frost. It's funny that they're only planted in the back yard. There's no sign of any in the front and side landscaping.
ReplyDeleteI had a new comment on my PB rug post about there being a defect to rugs made in 2006. When did you get yours? It's an interesting theory, but I'm not sold. When I walk into a PB store that smell is the very first thing I notice...
Glad you didn't fall for it. I looked last night and we bought ours on November 5, 2005.
