Thankful that it's over: Halloween. Part 1

Saturday, October 30. Spooky dinner followed by spooky movie.

Lady's Fingers

Old Man's Teeth

Mummy Dogs & Bones

Spider cupcakes

I packaged 3 of the cupcakes as a Thank You for a dinner playdate that Vance was invited to on Friday night. I made the stickers by reducing the size of the image for the Treat Tubes, printing them out, and simply using a glue stick to adhere. (I should have included a bottle of wine or spirit of choice for the Mom that hosted the kids. She has 3 of her own kids, invited 4 extra kids over, volunteered that day for the class field trip, and worked the class party. SuperMom!)

  6. Wow! That is soooo cool! I want to do that for my husband and I. He would think it's awesome. The finger nails are...what??? It would be a little creepy eating that stuff, but still so cool.

  7. Thanks!

The fingers are string cheese sticks, cut in half. The nails are shaved pieces of carrots. Lots of things can be used - apple peel, pieces of bell peppers...

  8. So impressive!

You'll have to start giving pre-holiday tutorials for the non-creative types like myself.
