A box, a couch, and a quote.

It's recycling day today and also windy as all get out.

Last night I spent about 45 minutes breaking and cutting down boxes so that I could set them out in a nice, organized stack for the recycling man. (I'm making room for our soon-to-be garage couch. It never sold. Sawing it in half wasn't the answer, so we'll be shrink wrapping and storing it until we re-do the basement.)

So, yes. Windy, recycling day, retrieving loose pieces of cardboard...that's been my morning. Better than yesterday morning which involved a dead car, jumper cables, and a Google search for "how to jumpstart a car".

I came across a quote today that I needed:

"The most important thing that she'd learned over the years was that there was no way to be a perfect mother and a million ways to be a good one." Jill Churchill
It's been that type of week around here.

*****Happy Friday!*****

  1. Love the quote and hope this week goes a little smoother for you. I think you might need one of those moustaches.....Don't worry I'll hook you up.
