Dr. Seuss Marshmallow Pops

You should have seen the way these marshmallow pops turned out in my head. They were beautiful. I was going to wrap them, tie them with colored twine, and make cute Dr. Seuss tags and hand them out to all the kids as they got off the bus today.

But.

They didn't turn out how I imagined. Plan A went to plan B and then on to plan C and this was the sad mess in my kitchen about 20 minutes before the bus was due to arrive yesterday.

I made plan C work and while they're not what I imagined, they're not completely horrible either. I skipped the fancy wrapping, ties, and tags though. Sub-par pops get saran wrap and twisty ties.

A nod to Dr. Seuss's hat. Do you see it?

The kids sampled them yesterday and gave their approval.

(I stuck sticks into marshmallows, dipped them in white almond bark, then drizzled them with red-tinted white chocolate.)

...............

Here's one of my favorite Dr. Seuss fans rocking his Seuss hat and toothless smile this morning before school.

"If you never did you should. These things are fun and fun is good." - Dr. Seuss

"For pete's sake have some fun today! Get out there and see what comes your way!" - Charisa

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!
