Friday 5: Celebrating Simplicity

5 simple noteworthy and toast worthy happenings from the week.
***************

Here's to giving kids responsibilities and seeing how proud they are when they accomplish something.
(Vance is our new Juice Master for the summer. He gets to pick what type and then makes it.)

Here's to instant streaming.
(I joined for Arrested Development but the entire family is enjoying all the other perks. Movie night, every night!)

Here's to little surprises that make you smile.
(I didn't plant daisies - they just grew, surprisingly, under this tree. Daisy was the name of our dog who hasn't been with us for almost 4 years - to they day. I still miss her.)

 Here's to anniversaries!
(Justin and I will celebrate 11 years this weekend. I'm feeling a little like Heather Dubrow because, I too, am a lover of champagne. Can't wait to uncork this one and celebrate!)

Here's to PreK!
(Vaughn had her last day of pre-school yesterday and it was so sad to say goodbye to the school and her teachers. Chin up though! Looking onward to a great summer!
1st day and last day comparison)

Cheers!
What are you celebrating tonight?

You will love Netflix. I haven't started Arrested Development yet, but can't wait. Finishing up Breaking Bad - not sure if you would like that one.

    Cheers!

  5. Congratulations! To you and your husband traveling the same path for 11 years; you're still newlyweds! To Vance for learning how to juice. That's something I would like to learn and the sight of his pineapple and orange choices made me very thirsty! To Vaughn for graduating from Pre-K. To Heather Dubrow who I also like. To you for not calling it "champs." To Daisy who was such a loving companion that she is still so missed four years later. And to the earth for sending you a reminder of Daisy. :)
