Fall gave in. So I did too.

I know, in a matter of days I went from a Grinchy "No Christmas!" to full-out Oprah, "you get a tree AND you get a tree AND you get a tree!" I will say it wasn't my idea but I didn't protest it either. It was Sunday, we had zero plans, and it was snowing outside. Perfect conditions for decorating Christmas trees.

I wasn't the only one who gave in today. Fall gave in to winter and now the trees, still covered in leaves, are also wearing a layer of snow.

I'm definitely not ready for snow but the kids played outside for hours meaning SNOW = BABYSITTER. I'll take that any day of the week!

On Saturday, Vaughn and I bought matching cabin socks. These magical socks are infused with aloe and feel like you're walking on clouds. I have a feeling that we'll be getting a lot of use out of them this winter!
