Love to Cook, Hate to Plan: Weekly Menu Planner (Week 19)

First things first, the soup I made from last week's menu, Crock Pot Chicken Soup, was a HUGE success with the kids, Vaughn especially, because she never likes soup. If you're looking for a new soup, give it a try!

Week of 11/9 - 11/15
Salads and baked potatoes on Monday. Russet for the family, sweet for me.

New recipe for Tuesday! Crock Pot Creamy Ranch Chicken. Needed something fast and one of the kids said it looked ok. Fingers crossed!

Tortellini Soup for Wednesday.

Another new recipe! Baked Spaghetti squash with garlic and butter. Still deciding on what to have with it... Probably something the kids will eat a lot of, like salad, because I have a feeling they're not going to be into the squash.

Pizza on Fridays!

I'm making two batches (traditional and vegetarian) of chili for Justin's office chili-cookoff during the week, so I'm planning on making more to have some for dinner on Saturday night. When we were buying ingredients, the checkout lady at the grocery store told us about her older kids loving Pepper Belly's. I had never heard of that before, but it's chili with Frito's and cheese. From there, onions, guacamole, salsa, and sour cream can be added and it all can be eaten like a Walking Taco. The kids were intrigued and promised to give chili another try as long as they can try it that way. Let's hear it for cooking once and eating twice!

Another new recipe on Sunday! I have crescent rolls that I need to use and I thought the kids would like these Chicken Alfredo Roll-Ups. I'll sauté green beans to go with.

I'm always looking for new ideas, what's one thing on your menu this week?
Hope everyone has a great week!
