I'm hosting Thanksgiving for the first time and ironically enough I've been sick for the past week, which has made a sport out of prepping. Happy to say that I'm starting to feel better and beyond thankful that my mom came into town yesterday to help me finish up grocery shopping and is here to tell me what the hell to do with all this food.
Here's some Thanksgiving links from The Kitchn to help you along your way too.

Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving!
Hope you're feeling back to your usual self very soon! Yay for moms coming to the rescue! I've hosted Thanksgiving a few times (you'll do great!) but, with the aid of her caretaker, my 76 y.o. mother made her famous pot roast this week and, as I was digging into a warm bowl of deliciousness, I realized I don't have the recipe. It's only in her head. Must correct that! Moms and their know how...that's something to be celebrated. My mom and I have our first invitation to a Thanksgiving get-together in years and I'm what could probably be accurately described as squiggly with anticipation. :) Happy Thanksgiving!!
