Two weeks ago Vance's class spent a week talking about the three R's. Reduce, reuse, recycling!

Which I'm all for.

Except for when he keeps bringing home "beautiful junk" projects that were mingled into the reusing portion of the lesson. This is a "newspaper putter inner" that he would like to tape to the wall. He was almost in tears last night when I told him that it was time for it to go into the recycling. "But it's my beautiful junk!", he screamed. So, I caved and it's still sitting on the counter. At least for now.
