Toddler Repellant Update

The fish is still in the Tupperware cabinet, scaring the bejesus out of Vaughnie.

Mama's been happy about not having plastic containers all over the floor.

It's a win win... Except for Vaughn, I guess. Moving on.
A few days ago she opened the cabinet, looked at the fish, and said, "Whoa". She repeated it one more time, then walked away.

Today she opened the cabinet and reached down to touch the fish. From where I was sitting I couldn't tell if she actually touched it or not, but this is a sign. The fish is losing it's power.

I'm gonna need something stronger.

  1. what about those dancing chipmumks or rats that always play kung foo fighting? lol Ella is terrified of this rubber rat that we found at once upon a toy. long story, but she hates it.

I think we need to set a trap. Let her get close to touching the fish and once she's close, we'll hit the button to play the music. I bet that freaks her out and buys us some more time. It's worth a shot!!

  3. doesn't the fish have a motion sensor on it? i thought those creepy things could be put on a setting that if someone walked by (or persay a toddler reaches in close to touch it) the thing sets off...? kind of cruel, but could buy mommy some more tupperware free floor time!
