Very exciting news to share...
Justin and I are now farmers.
I'd like to present our first garden. No laughing or snarky comments that our tomatoes are too close together or things of that nature. We're learning at we go.
I normally never visit this area of the yard. I discovered a jasmine plant. It smells fantastic, unfortunately you can only smell it when you're really close to it.
We're starting small, as you can see we don't have much space. I normally do the herbs in pots, but I thought I'd try them out in the ground. I forgot to buy cilantro, will have to add that later.
Let's all hope this experience stays known as The Garden! and doesn't become The Effing Garden or The Poor Garden or That Dried Up Piece of Land Next to the Jasmine Plant.
I'm off to stock up on plaid shirts and a pitchfork.

ReplyDeleteI love the garden. We are going to have one when we eventually move into a new house. I will be asking you lots of questions, so you can tell me what works and doesn't. I don't have a green thumb at all. Actually I kill almost everything, so I will need some serious advice. Can't wait to hear how it goes.
