Snow Angels and Hedge Clippers

If you would have peeked into my backyard two days ago, you would have seen Vance and I filling the bird feeder, making snow angels, and checking out animal tracks in the snow.

You couldn't have missed us. I had a purple coat on, red snow pants, boots with the fur, and a silly purple hat on.

One thing led to another and the next thing I know I'm on a ladder with hedge clippers, clipping bagworms from our cypress tree.

The neighbors must think I'm nuts and I'm okay with that.

While on the third step of the ladder, positioned in the snow, on an incline, in snow boots, wielding hedge clippers into the air, I started to second guess this activity. Vance knows to call 911 in an emergency, but gets the numbers wrong half of the times we quiz him on it. "1191! 9961! 933!" Who knows who we'd have show up.

Sensible Mom took over after Crazy Idea Lady tried to get a handle on the bagworm situation.

Damn her, she always ends up winning.

Man, would I'd loved to have seen you out there on a ladder wielding hedge clippers in that crazy get up going after bag worms! I'm still laughing. I wish Vance could have taken a picture of you too! Mom
