We've been busy here lately! It took two weekends to stain the fence, a job I never want to do again. I've tried my hand at the sugar cookies again and this time produced a better outcome. I used The recipe, but still didn't get it exactly right. I will try it again and will add more cream cheese to the frosting. I've made a Halloween sign and finally finished my little table for one of the guest rooms. It's windy, rainy, and cold here with a chance for snow tonight and tomorrow. Where did the Fall go???
yes, yes, the cookies look much more tasty!! candy would be proud! :) another trick for the frosting is to add just a touch less milk so it's thicker and spreads a bit easier. i found if you add too much cream cheese it can get a little thick and sometimes tears the cookies when you're spreading. tricky little suckers, aren't they?
