It was my day to run yesterday and I decided not to.
Vaughn, who is usually a great sleeper, woke up twice throughout the night, which was the reason I ended up sleeping in.
Finally after getting up, I walked downstairs and realized I had left the outside lights on all night. I walked over to the door and reached to turn them off. Damn. As soon as I looked out the window I saw her.
A runner. Running in the dark and in the cold. Perfect timing.
I didn't want to startle her by turning the lights off as she ran past so I waited and cursed her unknown name for making me feel bad about wanting to sit, drink coffee, and opening my computer.
I flicked the light off and headed back upstairs to change into my running clothes.
I never feel bad after a workout. I always feel bad when I choose to not.
I'm always surprised to see where inspiration comes from. Where does your inspiration come from?
